Motivations

This is for the people of all age groups and professions, living in Nigeria, to rise in the world; for its children to have brighter and better futures whilst serving their country.
Mostly social entrepreneurs raise funds from developed countries to Nigeria, as educational funds, because education of the children is their main goal.

Why is this issue worthy of exploration? Please include in your answer ways in which your project may contribute to the development of responsible leadership and/or a sustainable society.

Nigeria has been struggling form very start, mainly in their economic sector. In order to recognise the efforts of the social entrepreneurs, it is very important to dig deep into this matter to:

·       Make and maintain social value (amongst personal values) in Nigeria.

·       Acknowledging and persistently engaging in new opportunities to meet the demands and requirements of the economy and people.

·       Participating in a process of constant improvement, modification and education.

·       Exhalating heightened accountability to the communities served and for the final outcomes.

Social entrepreneurs are very important types of leaders, we must recognise and appreciate them like this, too. We need them to help us find fresh possibilities forward, social and economic improvements, especially in countries like Nigeria. A country that is clouded in poverty, a degraded educational system and hunger crisis, it is very important to understand the contributions that social entrepreneurs make in such countries. We must understand their hardships and get motivation as individuals to contribute to make lives better in Nigeria and many other similar states and countries. A sustainable society is built by efforts on individual level. To unite the thoughts of a society aimed to a single target, there need to be an awareness that can be in the form of a short article, that is provided by this project.
Development of a leader – someone who can guide a group of people to make them aware of problem facing countries yet willing to rise in the world, like Nigeria: that leader needs to be polished, aware, and educated enough to lead people so they can sympathise, contribute, and help towards these causes. This is a proposing idea that is given thorough this writing.
Only if people of a society are determined and awarded enough, they can strive for raising funds for Nigeria and other underdeveloped countries. Awareness amongst people, all over the word, can motivate and give birth to many influential entrepreneurs in the future.

Please provide an overview of the current ideas surrounding this issue. You should refer to the latest academic or practitioner research in this field.

Nigeria is Africa’s most popular country, largest wealth, and lead producer. Following U.S administration have depicted the U.S Nigeria relationship listed in the vital in sub-Saharan Africa. It is USA’s largest trade-off partner and third largest target for U.S external direct financing in the region. It regularly ranks as being in the top annual recipient of U.S foreign relief, all over the world. Nigeria plays a major political and economic role in Africa and has an impact in the district. Nigeria comprises Africa’s most African-born population in the U.S, generating billion of dollars in the annual remittance outflows. In the governance, conditions have broadly improved but still corruption, religious conflicts, security power mistreatments, prejudice against women and sexual minorities, and government persecution of political rivalries and the media remain key disputes. In the security front, the challenge has been on nerves with many killings and farmer disputes over religion and conflicts with the environment. Although economy has the strength to take Nigeria over as a global economic centre of power, but the corruption always been the supplement to suppress this economic growth.
In short, Nigeria is already known for the world’s largest population living in severe deprivation, due to which a huge part of its population is unable to have education. It is causing a deacceleration in the economic growth in the long term. Whilst these factors effecting Nigeria, on the other hand, the growing social entrepreneurs is a positive sign as they are working in reducing key issues in the country. As mentioned initially, women entrepreneurs working to upbring women rights. They are helping to maintain a solid aid from USA that is used to improve health and organisations. They are fighting for the rights of people at all possible levels, at the same time consistent to decrease poverty. With overview of these ides, it’s a fact to state that many social entrepreneurs are working their best to help and develop Nigeria and its population.

Which research methods do you intend to use during your research? Please provide as much detail as possible about the data you will use and how you plan to access it.

There are various research methods that I will be consulting during my research. On topmost, I’ll be doing online research to approach a wide range of facts and findings for my project. To get authentic information and findings about the entrepreneurs. Wikipedia search have been referred mostly. Moreover, I’ll be studying online articles in order to get a better and deeper understanding regarding key issues in Nigeria. These articles could be from various authors of various regions in the world to see how this issue is interpreted globally. Additionally, online newspaper articles, news channels’ short clips and documentaries are also a good way to expand my knowledge on my subject. Some of these documentaries on different social entrepreneurs and their lives, working on the betterment of Nigeria and their relationships with their work: this is something that I dig deep into by watching and gathering information. YouTube is another useful tool that can provide current and past videos that has helped me to compare and evaluate how problems have reduced or increased – political riots and protests of farmers and people of different areas.
Apart from all of this collected data form the internet; considering and using my own findings and knowledge, has helped to support my individual points that have been discussed above. Furthermore, the information that I have gathered on different topics, my best approach was to write it in my own words and aligning it to make it coherent according to the requirements of my project. Google i.e. Wikipedia and online articles, are my primary tools for my research work.

Please provide a short list of English language academic work you believe will be relevant to this project, cited in APA format.

My study contains information and fact based research about all the problems that clouded over Nigeria. From economy to politics and education to health, my research work has all the aspects of each issue to get a deep understanding of it. From a political aspect it is stated that how important the relationship of Nigeria and U.S is. As USA has been a great helping hand especially after 2017, the corruption that has dig deep into the economy failures of the country is stated.

In education front, the illiteracy percentage in the country is relatively high. The food shortage and poverty has been a black spot on the country. By covering all the aspects, al clear image is placed on the globe. The social entrepreneurs have contributed to a great extent In order to uplift the country. By writing down the efforts in my research work, I believe it can provide a great motivation to the reader, which in result can motivate a group of people. By writing down the problems about Nigeria, mostly writing is a frame work and outline of many global problems surrounding various countries. Furthermore, providing an overview can help in understanding and solving problems by managing each of them individually with efficient most solutions. Because it is easy when you have a clear picture of problems to deal with. In detail, my study can help in dealing with education front. By bringing in more aids and building and building more governmental schools, literacy rate can be increased. More hospitals and giving shelters and food can greatly help. Nigeria has been facing all these problems. By just reading my writing and learning these problems, I believe globally these can be exaggerated a t a bigger frame that can fit any country.
